THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN

In today's ever fast pace world we very rarely find time to worry about the needs of our surroundings and environment. We have become very lazy even to the point to get up and throw something away properly in a trashcan much less than take our waste to the local recycling center.

According to uta.edu recycling facts: "Americans waste... nearly 1 million pounds of materials per person every year". That is a harsh reality when taking into consideration there is over 311 million people in America, according to the US census. This makes one wonder, what can one person do to help the environment for the better? Well that is a good question, as students working together we can make a difference.

There are many little things as well as larger things that students can do, from things as little as turning off our lights when not being in use or taking only 5-10 minute showers and recycling our waste, and in return earning cash. There are easy steps as students that we can all do collectively to make a change.
