More and more households are switching from their traditional cleaning products to ones that are greener and more environmentally friendly. Some of the benefits of using these just as effective products is that they don't have the harsh chemicals, as oppose to the ones that are a little bit cheaper and non-environmentally friendly.
When you switch your cleansing products to go green, you are not only making your surroundings cleaner, but also you are not inhaling the bad chemicals as you would in the other products. They are just as effective if not more effective in keeping your house and clothes clean and spot free. According to epa.gov, cleaning products that do not claim to be eco-friendly have harsh chemicals such as nitrogen and phosphorus, large amounts of such substances can contribute to water pollution. As college students we can afford switching over our traditional cleaning products to environmentally friendlier ones for the same price or a couple cents more.
